Description

We will have three run groups:

  • Beginner (Instructed and Solo)
  • Intermediate (Solo)
  • Advanced (Instructors and Solo)

Each run group will be scheduled for 2 1/2 hours of track time! (subject to temporary track closures due to on-track conditions and incidents)

The Beginner Instructed drivers (students) will have certified instructors in their cars, communicating to the drivers via in-car headsets and will be instructed on how to drive their cars at speed on the track. The primary focus will be on safety and education. As a student, you will learn how to control your car through high-speed turns and straights using the same techniques employed by race car drivers competing all over the world in Formula 1, IMSA, NASCAR and other motorsports competitions. However, we are not racing! In the Beginner group, all passing is done in a controlled, cooperative manner with “point-by’s”, and only on the straights. Remember, there will always be an instructor in your car talking you through every minute you are on the track. There will also be three sessions of “ground school”, where the students will be taught the theories and principles of high-performance driving, which they will apply in their on-track sessions.
